Holiday home Acadia

Acadia was the perfect place to stay for a few days in Bruges. The house is beautiful and the location ideal - close enough to stroll into town but at a peaceful remove from the bustle. Tom responded promptly to messages and was unfailingly helpful. Highly recommended and I would be delighted to stay here again.

I stayed in Acadia for two nights with my wife and our two daughters and I have to admit – we really loved the place! It was exactly what we were looking for, hoping for and paid for – the location is great (located in a silent region, not too close to the center – too many people, too much restaurants, kind of noisy – and yet just 15 min walking distance from the Market Square), provides privacy, it’s spacious enough (two separate bedrooms on the second floor, well equipped kitchen and a cozy living room), and what’s even more – it gives you the chance to feel the unique atmosphere of Bruges and of… past times. An “welcome package” is prepared for the guests – some useful information about staying in Bruges and even more – some private information about the hosts – which is cute and much appreciated by me and my family. I definitely recommend it. If we are to visit Bruges again someday, I would surely come back to Acadia. It’s time to say it – thank you, Tom, for your hospitality!

Really well located, easy to walk from the train station and to reach the old town centre, but there are lots of cute shops / cafes / restaurants in the streets nearby. The house was really clean with a well equipped kitchen and lovely toiletries. Having the toilet separate from the shower was a plus, stairs are fairly steep so not ideal if you struggle with mobility but that is true of a lot of properties in Bruges! Would definitely stay here again.
